Earlier this month, the West family announced that they will be expanding as Kim is once again pregnant.  Now, on father’s day, Kim revealed the gender of their unborn baby, and it looks like Kanye Jr. is on the way as the couple is expecting a boy.  Baby Yeezy is on the way.

With the month of June winding down, many are questioning whether Meek Mill’s sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money will actually be released this month.  Meek took to twitter earlier to reassure us that the project will arrive by the end of the month, and with only 9 days left till July it looks like we’ll be getting the album within the next week and a half.

Some big features for DWMTM were also revealed over the weekend when Meek stopped by DJ Charlie Sloth for an interview. It was announced that Drake, The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj, Future & more will all appear on the Philly rappers’ upcoming offering.

With Meek Mill’s upcoming sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money expected to be released this month, Meek has finally given us a little more detail on what to expect by revealing some big features.  In an interview with the UK’s DJ Charlie Sloth, Meek reiterated that the project will arrive this month, and announced that Drake, The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Future & Swizz Beatz will all make appearances throughout the album. Although he hasn’t given us the official release date yet, we’re hoping it’s sooner than later.

It’s always interesting to see who the artists of our generation are influenced by, and as Kendrick Lamar being one of the most impactful artists of our time, it’s especially interesting to learn his influences.  In a quick tweet, Kendrick has disclosed that information to us naming Lil B & Lil Wayne as his main two influences. Lil Wayne comes as no surprise, as I’m sure for most artists his name is at the top of the list of icons, but to learn that Lil B has had that much of an impact on K. Dot is somewhat shocking, however not totally out of the blue since the “Based God” has always preached the importance of being true to yourself.

It looks like TDE is set to have a huge year.

Yesterday ScHooboy Q hosted an impromptu Q&A on twitter, which he would soon delete after, but we managed to get some screenshots first.  During the Q&A he was asked what the deal with his forthcoming album is and Q responded by letting fans know it’s coming after Jay Rock’s upcoming project.  Jay Rock’s album has been widely anticipated for a while now, but a few weeks back Top Dawg president Punch tweeted out that he was listening to Jay Rock’s album in its entirety, which leads us to believe that the project is finished. Although no official time table has been released it’s very possible that we could see new projects from both Jay Rock & Q this year.  Check out some of the other questions from the Q&A below.
