J Cole’s newest album has already hit gold and is well on its way to topping that coveted platinum spot. It has the potential to be one of his most successful albums to date, and to add to that, some are saying this could be some of his best work since the early days of his career. With no singles being released, 2014 Forest Hills Drive was impromptu to say the least, but that didn’t stop Dreamville fans from buying almost 900,000 copies as of February 18th.
Shortly after releasing the album, the Roc Nation MC announced that he will be going on tour, attaching the first flyer displayed below showing only a handful of tour locations starting off in Eugene, Oregon and ending in Providence, Rhode Island, seeming as if he left a good majority of the country out. How could he do that to you? Skipping right over your city and going onto the next. Well, don’t start tweeting all of those complaints just yet. Earlier today, he took to twitter to post some extra flyers that have a whole two other acts of his tour with over 25 additional venues. The middle act being a European (Journey) featuring Jhenè Aiko, Pusha T, Bas, Cozz, and Omen. The last of these three flyers is (Act 3-Hollywood), the latter of the tour, and the only act of the tour that brings along fellow artists Big Sean, YG, and Jeremih.
So, whether you live in the hills of Cali, snowy New York, or even Paris, France, theres a good chance you’re going to be able to see Cole shut it down on stage beside some of the biggest names in the game.
