8 years ago, a group of misfits from across the country came together to form the hip hop collective we now know as Odd Future. Notorious for acting outside the norm, the groups popularity skyrocketed after the release of projects from Tyler The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt & Frank Ocean which would find them in the spotlight. Since then, they’ve proven to have one of the strongest fan bases, but things have begun to change as of late. The group began to part ways when solo careers began to blossom starting with Frank Ocean, as he left the management team responsible for Odd Future in 2010. Fast forward 4 years later and Earl Sweatshirt was the next to step away. Although it as not due to any personal issues between them, the group simply has begun to grow apart which leads us to the series of tweets from Tyler The Creator last night.

although its no more, those 7 letters are forever. — Tyler, The Creator (@fucktyler) May 28, 2015
As they may still remain friends, I wouldn’t expect any new material coming from the OFWGKTA collective in the future.
UPDATE: Earl Sweatshirt confirms that the Odd Future era has come to an end
no sympathy for male virgins who’re in their feelings about tyler pointing out and solidifying the obvious.
