Earlier statements that Jay Z  & Roc Nation would be purchasing the unreleased catalog of Tupac Shakur’s music have turned out to be false.  The rumors began on Friday, when a local Houston radio show posted that Jay Z would be purchasing some unreleased material from Entertainment One. The reports also claimed that they would be releasing an unheard Tupac album titled And Now I Rise, with some features that seemed pretty unlikely to be true.  However, you can expect to hear some new music from the late rapper later this year, according to JAM Inc.’s Jeff Jampol, who oversees Shakur’s estate.
